JapanFestival Berlin

JapanFestival Berlin from 14 till 16 November 2008 at the Postbahnhof (an old restored post train station) with its magical architecture with two storeys, two fully equiped clubs and one heated circus tent is celebrating Japan, its culture, arts, crafts and products. There are many stands, artsits and three stages with non-stop-live programme such as TAIKO DRUMS, BUTHO DANCE, KABUKI, AIKIDO, KARATE, KENDO, IAIDO, IAI-JUTSU, TAMESHIGIRI, NIHON KORYU JJUTSU, KINOMICHI,, KATORI SHINTO RYU, JU TAI JUTSU, TENSHIN SHODEN KATORI, IKEBANA, GO, ORIGAMI, SHIATSU, SUMI-E, MANGA MANIA, COSPLAY and many more. The venue is located in Berlins center directly connected to the OSTBAHNHOF, one of Berlins mayor train stations. It is also easy to reach by bus, car, taxi or bike. We do expect some 10,000 visitors of all age all deeply interested in all varieties of Japan. There will authentic Japanes cuisine freshly made by Japanese chief Takao Udagawa such as SUSHI, UDON, MISU and many more. Ice cold Japanes beer and Japanese lemonade are being served as well as green tea and all varieties of SAKE. Visitors can follow different workshops and public seminars all included in the entrance fee.

Sunday, 16 November: 10 am - 8 pm

* Cosplay fans wearing their costume get 3,00 EURO off, only at the box office during the event Children under 12 years and disabled are free
